1989 Comiskey Park Panorama.
Old Comiskey Park Opening Day Panorama. This photo was taken during Opening Ceremonies in a game against the Oakland Athletics to open the 1989 season at old Comiskey Park. The A's went on to win the World Series that season. This photo is 9.5 inches tall by 36 inches long. We also have another panoramic image of this view that is not shown here that if very nice and nearly twice as long! Several other White Sox panoramic photographs are available that are not on the website. Many of these panoramas were created by a #10 Cirkut camera, which is a camera that rotates to expose an entire roll of film for one shot. The roll of film is 10 inches tall and 6 feet long! Then the negative is used for making contact photo prints. These are not enlargements and are very high quality and collectible in their own right.
