Harvard Overview Panorama.
This panorama was taken in the Autumn and shows some lovely autumn colors. The view is looking toward the Charles River from atop the Holyoke Center. Large buildings in downtown Boston are visible in the left of the photo and the John F. Kennedy School of Business is on the right of the photo. Harvard Stadium is also in view just to the left of the JFK school. Many other campus buildings are clearly visible in this photo. This image is so beautiful that the Harvard University Archives purchased one of them for their collections. They also bought one of the Harvard Yard, shot during the same trip. This panorama was shot using a #10 Cirkut camera the print created by putting the negative in direct contact with the photo paper or traditionally printed. This is a very difficult and labor intensive method of printing which is no longer done. It is 9.5" tall by 68" long. Just visible in this photo are several crew boats in the Charles River. Baker Library, Lowell Hall, Harvard Stadium and the JFK School of Government are just a few of the many buildings included in this panoramic photo. This photo is hand signed by the photographer and makes a terrific graduation gift. This photo was sold at the Harvard Coop for many years. CL_HVD_002
