Solar Eclipse on the University of Illinois Quad 1995.
This is a panoramic photograph of the University of Illinois Quad during the 1995 solar eclipse. The photographer's imagined image would show everyone on the Quad looking up with various instruments to observe the solar eclipse, but only a few were making the observation. The light is a nice light because of the eclipse, the light is similar to what you would see around sunrise or sunset, but this is midday. Image is a full 360 degrees, with Lincoln Hall located on both the left and right side of the photograph. Directly in the middle is Davenport Hall and to the right of it is the Foreign Language Building then Follinger Auditorium. Other buildings on the quad are also captured in this photograph. It is 9.5" tall and 72" long. CL_ILL_004. The image you see on your screen is not nearly as clear, nor does it have as much detail as the actual photograph you will purchase.
